AHP Labs - About Us
Alan Posner, PhD is the founder of AHP Labs, an In Vitro Diagnostic company. Prior to forming AHP Labs, Dr. Posner was a partner in a company that supplied serum bases to IVD manufacturers. As a founding partner and Executive Vice President he developed many of their serum bases recruiting and maintaining their largest clients.
At Dade Diagnostics, Dr. Posner was responsible for developing new chemistry controls. The new and improved products that he developed were responsible for approximately 18 million dollars in sales per annum.
Earlier in his career Dr. Posner managed the Technical Marketing Department for Beckman Instruments, and the Technical Services, Value Assignment and Inter-Laboratory Quality Control Program at Fisher Diagnostics.
His postgraduate degrees are in Physiology and Biochemistry — both were obtained at New York University. Dr. Posner's teaching positions include an Assistant Professor of Physiology in the Medical School and an Instructor of Chemistry.
